London Wall Place is a 500,000 sq. ft. project comprising two office buildings of 12 and 16 storeys and landscaped areas developed jointly by Oxford Properties and Brookfield Property Partners on the north side of London Wall between Moor House and the Museum of London.

Multiplex is the main contractor with design by Make Architects and engineered by WSP structures.

Our role

We have worked on fit outs in 2 London Wall Place and have recently completed the fit out of 1 London Wall Place for Schroders Plc who are now occupying the building.

Building control surveyor Andrew Woods was supporting senior surveyors and carrying out regular site inspections witnessing all operations including; slipformed cores, below and above ground drainage, steelwork erection, concrete pours and mechanical and electrical testing. Factory applied intumescent paintwork was checked in addition to the general steelwork connections and welds. We had regular meetings with Multiplex and MAKE architects to ensure design details could be finalised and any problems encountered on site could be quickly resolved to avoid delays.

If you are considering undertaking a similar commercial development or planning a fit out at London Wall Place we will be happy to assist you with any Building Regulation queries you may have and offer free pre-application advice. Please call 020 7332 1000 or email the District Surveyor's Office.
